BEADED DAISY DOLLY BAG
This is a top piped dolly bag and was originally made to match a customers shoes. The first bag pictured is made from white duchesse satin and has the daisy shape sewn in silver metallic thread with crystal AB seed beads sewn inbetween, with a crystal AB diamante for the flower centre. The second picture is of a bag made from ivory duchesse satin with lilac piping, ribbon and daisy shape formed from lilac metallic thread with crystal AB seed beads.
As with the other bags colour schemes could be interchanged to produce a different effect. Seed beads are available in many different colours as are diamantes. The background thread colour that is used for the daisy shape can be changed to give a subtle colour effect. As an alternative tiny pearls could be used instead of seed beads.
This design could lend itself beautifully to a ring cushion, I have done a bespoke cushion for customer using the daisy pattern, but I would still like to do a general cushion using this design.
