FLOWERGIRL BASKETS Above is a recent item I have made for a customer who required a satin covered basket for her little flowergirl to put her petals in for scattering at the wedding ceremony. It is covered in ivory duchesse satin with some little rose, ribbon and pearly trims to the ends of the handles. The handle has also been covered with satin and it is fully lined. Afterwards the child could carry some comforting toys around in it!! As with most things I do, everything can be altered to your own specifications, maybe adding scattered pearls/diamantes/beads etc, changing colours of material, ribbon, other trims. I am currently looking for a suitable supplier for baskets so I can give some standard sizes for the baskets. The one pictured is approx 28 cm high at the top of the handle and 18 cm across the basket where the handle is. Price guide will be £12.00 - £25.00, obviously depending on how much detail is on the basket and the size of it, it maybe an alternative to flowers for a very young bridesmaid as are the dolly bags!
